I was completely surprised by this tripod as soon as I took it out of the box. Very high quality, very sturdy feel and all the functions of a tripod that sells for 700 bucks or more. Photography seems to be one of the hobbies that stays true to the concept of "you get what you pay for". Not so with this tripod. This is the best price to quality product I have encountered. The swivel head and adjustable legs are extremely useful. I also bought a ballhead from Vangaurd just to make sure I bought two items that would be compatible. I love that thing just as much. I would recommend this to anybody who doesn't have the wallet for one of the top name brands but wants something just as good.
